We are delighted to share a series of multilingual videos created by Alliance and Cohesion for Racial Equality (ACRE) in Reading, to help people access clear and trustworthy information about important vaccines.
The videos cover the MMR vaccine (for both adults and children), flu, RSV and COVID-19 and are available below in Arabic, Nepali and Urdu to help reach more communities.
About the video project
Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) has funded this project to improve vaccine uptake and reduce health inequalities. Many people can find it difficult to access reliable health information, particularly if English is not their first language. Providing information in different languages helps make vaccine guidance easier to understand and more accessible.
ACRE worked closely with Community Health Champions who are trusted members of their communities, and who appear in the videos to explain the information in a clear and relatable way.
Barbara Diouri, Community Health Champion Co-ordinator, ACRE said:
"By combining accessible language, trusted community voices and clear public health information, ACRE’s vaccine video project is helping to bridge gaps, empower communities, and support healthier futures for everyone."

Help spread the word
We encourage partners, community groups and local organisations to share these videos with their communities and networks so that more people can access this important information.
By sharing these videos we can all help more people understand their vaccine options and support healthier communities.
