Healthwatch Wokingham Borough asks you to sign a petition to ensure the Government reviews the decision to close all independent local Healthwatch.
We are asking the Government to
Revisit its decision to abolish local independent services that speak up for the public.
Consult with the public to co-design a service that meets people’s needs and supports the NHS to achieve its ambitions.
Invest in and strengthen independent services, rather than dismantle them.

In July, we co-signed a letter with other local Healthwatch to fight against the closure plans, and are now asking the public to sign the petition.
Local Healthwatch has now created a petition calling on the Government to protect the independence of local voices in health and social care.
At 10,000 signatures, the Government will respond to this petition. Every signature counts in showing that people value their local Healthwatch and the independent voice.
