Our statement on the closure of Healthwatch

Late on Friday 27th June, the UK Government announced plans to close down Healthwatch. This decision follows an independent review led by Dr Penny Dash, with the final report expected later this week.

We understand this news may come as a surprise, and we’d like to share our initial response below.
