Wokingham Borough covid vaccine centre is now located at the Shuters Café (in the basement of Wokingham Borough’s Shute End offices) with aim of making it easier for local people to get a vaccine.
The current Covid-19 vaccination programme is available for:
· First and second doses for people aged 5 and over
· Boosters for people aged 16 years old and over
· Third doses (as part of their primary course) and boosters for people with a weakened immune system aged 12 years old and over
· A seasonal booster, known as the autumn booster for people aged 50 years and older, residents in care homes for older people, those aged 5 years and over in a clinical risk group, and health and social care staff

Please note you do not need to be registered with a GP, show your immigration status, or have an NHS number to get the vaccine. Please bring and wear a face covering.
Adult autumn booster vaccine:
This is available for adults who need an autumn booster, as well as anybody aged 16 and above who have only completed their primary course on the following dates:

o 9:30am to 4:30pm, Thursday 17 November 2022

Frontline health and social care staff exclusive walk-in:
From 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays, the centre will provide the booster vaccine exclusively to frontline health and social care staff on a walk-in basis.
You will need to bring proof of status with you (such as workplace photo ID, a letter from your employer from the past three months, or a payslip from the past three months which shows your employer).
Children's Vaccine:
The children’s vaccine (for children aged 5 to 11) will be available on the following dates:
o 9:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday 6 November 2022
o 9:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday 13 November 2022
o 9:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday 20 November 2022
o 9:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday 4 December 2022
New mobile vaccination clinic
Wokingham Borough Council are also working with the NHS to set up mobile clinics to offer Covid-19 vaccines across the borough. Details on the latest mobile walk-in clinic, where you can turn up on the day without booking your vaccine, follow below:
