Oral and Dental research in the UK is world-leading. Nevertheless, it does not receive the funds it deserves. One solution to this would be to identify the research priorities in relation to oral health in order to focus research on these priorities.
A ground-breaking partnership has been launched to identify unanswered questions relating to oral and dental health research from a patient, public and clinical perspective. The NIHR CRN Oral & Dental Specialty Group have developed a new survey for oral & dental health designed to identify research priorities.
We invite contributions from everyone, whether they are members of the public, patients, carers or health and social care professionals and we are interested in anything to do with care of mouth, teeth or gums!
Are you or someone you care for receiving NHS orthodontic treatment? If so then NHS England would like to hear about your experience of the service. NHS England is responsible for buying orthodontic services (most commonly involving treatment using braces). Some of the contracts to provide these services will be coming to an end in 2019 so NHS England will be carrying out a procurement process to commission new contracts.
If you would like to share your views you can do this by completing a short online survey. – https://www.engage.england.nhs.uk/survey/49262bc7/
If you would prefer to have a printed copy of the survey to complete please call NHS England South Central team on 0113 825 1520 & a printed copy will be sentto you. The survey is open until Wednesday 27th December 2017.
The local Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment is a survey that Public Health, within local government, is undertaking to make sure that pharmacies across Berkshire are providing the right services, in the right locations, to support residents.
As part of this survey we want to get your views on services, so your answers are important to us. The survey is anonymous and the feedback you provide will be used to plan our services. http://consult.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/public/public_health_berkshire/pna_2017
